Johnstown To Lose $15 Million Dollars Next Year

Johnstown officials are anticipating 15 (m) million dollars less in the region's payroll next year. Officials anticipate collecting 15 percent less from the commuter tax because of an exodus of well-paying jobs. Johnstown has been losing jobs at the former Promistar Bank, Reliant Energy Corporation, Bestform Incorporated and soon Crown American Corporation. Officials say the impact will be widespread.
