Johnstown's Plans For Dr. Chandan Vora

Johnstown —

Johnstown's city attorney, Richard Green, says the city took 3 truckloads of things away from Dr. Vora's home. This is the second time the city has cleaned her home. They got $2,300 just from the aluminum cans they took. Green says they did find roaches inside as well. He says there are rules and regulations against the way she keeps her home and that's why she was arrested. The Judge has ordered Dr. Vora to pay the cleanup cost, but Green says they don't expect the cleanup cost paid leaving it to you, the taxpayer. Green also says since Dr. Vora only has a Green Card and is not a citizen he's looking into deporting her now

Green tells Channel 6 News, "Our only hope, for her sake, since she apparently won't try to live like a normal person, is to see whether or not the immigration and naturalization service can be of some assistance. Immigration and Naturalization service apparently will not step in and do anything if there is any litigation pending.

Green doesn't believe there's any litigation. He also says the city can not have Dr. Vora committed because, quote, "she's not a danger to herself or anyone else. All she is is an eyesore in the community". But once again her home is now condemned by the city.
