By WJAC Web Staff

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

A Cambria County jury reached a split verdict in the case of a Connecticut man charged with stealing nearly $9,000 in cash from a home in Westmont.

Wednesday's Tribune-Democrat reported that a jury found 39-year old James Brages guilty of several theft charges, but acquitted him on counts of burglary and trespass.

Police say Brages was found with cash matching the amount stolen, as well as tools in his backpack.
