Kayakers find man's body near river at Ohiopyle State Park

By Melanie Gillespie

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. —

A badly decomposed body was found near a river at Ohiopyle State Park Saturday night.

Kayakers spotted the body of a man near the Yough River.

The Fayette County Coroner said the body was found entangled in trees.

The find comes after a heavy search team scoured the state park in January for a missing Somerset County man.

Jeremy Walker, Somerset, was last heard from on New Year’s Day.

The coroner is still working to identify the body.

An autopsy is also scheduled.
