Lack of Snow Hurting Local Skiing

Mother Nature has frustrated both skiers and ski resort owners.

As of Tuesday, Seven Springs had only received 6 inches of natural snow. They were relying on man-made snow to keep them operational. Numbers were down so far this holiday week, which is normally the busiest week of the year.

The resort is expected to make more snow Tuesday night. Currently, 9 slopes and trails are open.
