Johnstown —
Conemaugh officials hoped to ease some of those concerns. They met with Lee Hospital employees Wednesday to announce some of their plans. The goal of these meetings is to let employees know some of their plans and hopefully ease their concern. But many Lee Hospital employees say it didn't work.
Channel 6 News caught up with a few workers outside Lee Hospital Wednesday afternoon. Some had no comment while others didn't even go to the meetings. For those workers that did, they tell Channel 6 News off camera, they're still just as concerned with this buy out by the Conemaugh Health System. The meetings didn't really tell Lee Hospital employees anything new but one employee says the word is Rehab will move to the Crichton Center. There will be no more EIB, additional time off for medical reasons.
This is coming from Lee Hospital employees right now. Channel 6 News will have full details on what Conemaughs plans are so far Thursday after their press conference.
