While area residents are still mourning the loss of a local serviceman, news came that yet another local man has been killed in Iraq.
Sgt. First Class Daniel Brozovich, 42, was killed Oct. 18 by a roadside bomb north of Baghdad.
Brozovich most recently lived in Greenville, Mercer County, and was a 1982 graduate of Bedford Area High School.
A funeral service for another local serviceman will be held Thursday evening in Elk County.
Army Second Lieutenant Christopher Loudon, 23, died when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle. Loudon, who leaves behind a wife and 5-year-old daughter, was a 2001 graduate of Brockway High School.
Loudon's funeral will take place at 6 p.m. at St. Tobias Church on Hewett St in Brockway.
