Local Six Pack Shop In Trouble With Liquor Control Board

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

The Six Pack and Pizza Shop on Clinton Street in Johnstown is a well-known spot, but not necessarily in a good way. According to police, there have been several fights and noise complaints in the five years it's been open. Now the state Liquor Control Board is cracking down.

The bar is being charged with seven liquor law violations including noise, serving alcohol to an already intoxicated person, disorderly conduct and even mislabeling a beer tap.

Police said they've had several complaints from nearby businesses and residents about the Six Pack Shop.

WJAC talked with the owner who claimed he's getting a bad wrap and that the city and police are targeting him in order to close down his business.

"One of the officers told me we don't care what we have to do, we'll shut you down. We want you closed," said owner Donnie Rozier. "I love this town and no one is here to hurt the people of Johnstown."

As for the noise complaints, Rozier said the business is on a busy road where there is a lot of trucks that make more noise than his music. He thinks officials are just nit-picking.

Rozier said he will plead not guilty to the violations.
