Three Arrested In Cambria County Drug Bust

By WJAC Web Staff

JOHNSTOWN —

Three people are facing charges after a drug bust in Cambria County.

In fact, police said one man arrested had gotten out of jail just two hours before the bust.

Police added that crack cocaine worth around $22,000 was found inside a Johnstown apartment.

It is part of an investigation stretching back two months. According to police, it involved undercover drug purchases with Cirilito Cheatham and Valerie Jenkins. Police said Travis Simms was also arrested and faces heroin related charges.

Inside Cirilito Cheatam's apartment, police said they found more than 110 grams of crack cocaine.

WJAC has learned that Travis Simms was released from jail just two hours before this drug bust. Last year, police said he was tattooing children without their parent's knowledge. Simms left the area but was found this year in a Virginia jail on trespassing charges.
