Police say the truck 50-year-old Richard Lutsic was driving Friday smashed against a tree on Hill Street near Cairnbrook. The truck lost its breaks near Dark Shade Drive. Police say Lutsic decided to run off the hill instead of into passing traffic. He had to be freed from the truck and flown to Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. He's in critical condition. His passenger, 74-year-old Michael Wilk, was taken to Memorial Medical Center as well. Lutsic is visiting family and friends.
