Making A Difference In The Alleghenies

College students are bringing in the Pittsburgh Steelers to help a local veteran.

Students at Pitt Johnstown are making sure Ed Hadix gets a new home through Habitat for Humanity.

Next Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers Footballers Basketball Team will play UPJ students at the Sports Center on campus.

Hadix's wife, Patty, recently died from Lou Gehrig's disease. The past few years he's spent all of his time and money caring for her.

UPJ staff and students are hoping money raised at the basketball game will help them pay for the rest of Hadix's mortage so he can get a Habitat House.

The game is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 and available at the Student Union on campus.
