Man Charged In Police Standoff

A man who staged a nearly three hour standoff with police Tuesday is now facing domestic violence charges. Police were called to answer a domestic dispute in Summerhill Township, Cambria County and they say that's when Vince Myers Jr. released his girlfriend and four children and then barricaded himself inside the home. Police surrounded the house concerned that he had access to guns and could pose a serious threat. Police eventually coaxed Myers out of the house with the promise to let him call his parents in Las Vegas. After a ten minute conversation with them, he was taken into custody.
