Man found guilty of attempted homicide in connection with Jefferson Co. shootings

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. —

A Pittsburgh man will be sentenced next week after a Jefferson County jury found him guilty on all but one count in connection with the shooting of two Punxsutawney men in September 2011.

Christopher Thornhill was convicted Thursday night on eight counts including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Thornhill's two shooting victims -- Shane Glatt and Richard White Jr. – both survived with serious injuries.
