Police said woman was transporting a man to an assisted care living facility when the vehicle veered off a road and into a tree on Warden Drive.
The man, who was in the back seat, was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner. The woman was transported to the hospital and her condition was not known as of noon.

The pair was traveling in a small Nissan between State College and Bellefonte at the time of the crash.
Several miles of the roadway between Shiloh Road and the Bellefonte exit of Interstate 99 were still closed as of noon while police investigated the crash.
