Man Sentenced To House Arrest For Having Sex With Teen

A former Pitt-Johnstown campus police officer will spend up to two years under house arrest after pleading guilty to corrupting a minor.

Jeffrey Haire pleaded guilty in August to having sex with a 17-year-old in connection with an Internet sex sting earlier this year in Cambria County.

UPJ administrator William Gillin and Christian bookstore owner Paul Skiles also pleaded guilty and are expected to be sentence in January. David Walko is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 13, and William Leckey -- the man behind the initial investigation - will be sentenced in March.

Cambria County District Attorney Patrick Kiniry said prosecutors are awaiting evaluations on Gillin and Skiles from the sexual offender assessment board.

Gillian, Skiles, and Haire have all admitted to having sexual relations with the 17-year old.
