Man's death outside historical society ruled suicide

By WJAC Web Staff

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. —

Pennsylvania State Police said a man whose body was found outside the Bedford County Historical Society in January committed suicide.

The Altoona Mirror reports circumstances surrounding the death of the 27-year old Michigan man still aren't clear, but they believe he either jumped or fell from a large silo outside the society building.

His frozen body was found on Jan. 23. Police believe the man had attended President Barack Obama's inauguration, left his Greyhound bus en route home, then walked to the silo.
