Marine Homecoming

Ebensburg

It was an early morning homecoming for local marines as they were in their loved one's arms at 4:30 Saturday morning. The first and second platoon truck company based in Ebensburg arrived home after about 10 months in Iraq. They served west of Baghdad providing transportation for infantry and supplies. One of their fellow servicemen was killed during an overseas explosion, but the men knew they had to keep going. One was even able to help his fiancee with wedding plans when he wasn't in the field.

Matt Milos says, "I did as much as I could. You're kind of limited. I was bugging her a lot. I was like...do this, go do this."

The servicemen now say they can't wait for the Easter holiday where they'll get their first big home cooked meal in months.
