PITTSBURGH, Pa. —
There was a very special reunion at the Pittsburgh International Airport Wednesday between a soldier on leave from Afghanistan and his Somerset County family.
"I feel like crying and screaming. I don't even know, I'm just really excited," Courtney Little said.
Little's boyfriend, Aaron Engleka, will be home for a total of eight days for Thanksgiving. The 21-year-old said he joined the Army right after high school because he wanted to serve his country.
Engleka's mother, Sharon Engleka, said she carries around photos of her son everywhere she goes.
"It's sort of bittersweet because he's home for Thanksgiving, but then he leaves again," Sharon Engleka said. "I baked five pies yesterday. We're having turkey, ham and the whole works."
Reporter Renee Kaminski from sister station WPXI-TV asked Aaron what he's most looking forward to while being home and he said, "Food. Just keeping it simple."
