More Charges Filed In Connection With Alleged Centre County Crime Ring

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. —

New charges have been filed in connection with an alleged Centre County crime ring after police arrested another Russian suspect.

Police said Anotoly Veritonov is accused of using a high-powered weapon in a kidnapping and robbery at a bar. They said Veritonov is tied to three other suspects already facing a host of robbery and burglary charges in the State College area.

Veritonov is charged in connection with a February carjacking in which the victim was threatened at gunpoint to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash. He is also accused of trying to rob a Boalsburg bar using an AK-47 rifle.

New charges were also filed today against the other suspects: Maksim Illariono, Dmitriy Litvinov and Alexei Semionov.
