-Nuts, crackers and cheeses make great low-sugar options. -Purchase popsicle molds to create your own healthy frozen treat options. -Avoid unhealthy pit stops. Pack healthy snacks when you’ll be on the go for long periods of time.

-Get a comprehensive sports physical prior to starting any sport. -Never “play through the pain” or play when sick. -Make sure all protective gear fits properly and is in good condition. -Use proper warm-ups (light jogging) and cool downs (stretching) before and after each game or practice.
