Moving Day Delayed At Jefferson County Courthouse

BROOKVILLE, Pa. —

Some Jefferson County offices will have to wait a little longer to move back into the county courthouse.

Several offices were due to move back into the building in early August.

The offices will now move back in on Aug. 17.

The office of the district attorney and the probation offices are part of that group.

Since late last year, crews have been busy on a multimillion dollar renovation project on the exterior and interior of the building.

Officials made the decision in the interest of public safety.

Work isn't completed on several areas of the building including the entryway.
