Murder Suspect Andrew Choros Asks Judge For Change Of Venue

EBENSBURG, Pa. —

Murder suspect Andrew Choros was back in court Monday.

Marybeth Shaffer, Choros' attorney, made four requests before trial, including a change of venue or out-of-county jurors, discovery, funds for expert witnesses and DNA testing for a gun.

Judge Patrick Kiniry accepted all of the requests but one, deferring the request for an out-of-county jury

Kiniry will make that decision closer to jury selection in November. Choros' trial is set for Nov. 14.

Choros is accused of shooting and killing his mother, Sharon, on Oct. 29, 2010.
