Musician gets 4-10 years in jail for heroin possession in Somerset Co.

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. —

A Pittsburgh hip hop artist was sentenced to four to 10 years in jail Wednesday in Somerset County Court.

The district attorney's office told 6 News that the sentence was given to 29-year-old Khalid Kareem, who is also known as "S. Money."

Kareem was caught with 2,000 stamp bags of heroin in his sport utility vehicle during a traffic stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Officials said the drugs had a street value of $50,000.
