Back in March, leaders entered in the Pepsi Refresh Project. Every month, Pepsi gives away cash to people in the community organizing projects.

Out of the 12,223 groups signed up, the authority is in 11th place. The group has to be in the top 10 groups to win $25,000. In order for them to win, the public needs to vote.

Authority members plan on spending the money on paving projects around the community pool and park, a new garage and new bleachers for the town's field.
