Centre County —

Police have released new details in a deadly weekend DUI-pedestrian accident in State College.

According to police, 20-year-old Anthony Torsell was driving between 50 and 60 miles per hour with no headlights on along South Atherton Street when he hit two pedestrians, killing one and critically injuring the other. The speed limit there is marked at 35 miles per hour.

Police say Torsell had a green light and the pedestrians were in the crosswalk. Torsell is accused of having a blood-alcohol level three times above the legal limit.
