New Grocery Store Coming To Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

Save-A-Lot will open up a store in downtown Johnstown and could hire 50 new workers.

The store will be located at the former Ideal Market on Sheridan Street.

Brian Ferraccio, owner, said the store will be open seven days a week. He said crews are remodeling with the goal of opening by the end of February.

"We have the lowest prices available with the highest quality foods. This store is going to be a little different than a normal Save-A-Lot," Ferraccio said.

He said the store will also have a full deli, bakery and an office. Ferraccio said he hopes to hire 50 local people for full-time and part-time positions.
