New Information In The Death Of A Penn State Student

Related

There's new information in last week's mysterious death of Penn State Student Salvador "Peter" Serrano. While police and investigators are saying little publicly, a court document obtained by Channel Six News does shed some added information on what happened in the moments leading up to his death.

Questions continue to surround the death of Peter Serrano, who died after getting in a scuffle with staff from a bar in downtown State College. With so many attorneys working on the case, little is being said publicly, but the new information comes in the form of a search warrant police filed to get more information on Serrano's medical history.

The search warrant filed a few days ago includes the police version of what they saw when called to a fight scene- just behind the Rathskellar Bar downtown. According to the warrant, Serrano was being held, face down, by a Skellar employee. The employee was using his body weight to hold Serrano down. According to the warrant, when police tried to handcuff Serrano he was unresponsive. Further lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, and Serrano was pronounced dead an hour later.
