New Single Family Homes For Sale

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

The Johnstown Housing Authority opened up two homes for the public to see on Wednesday that are aimed at single families. Officials hope this is the beginning of a new, refurbished look for Coopersdale.

The buildings are just the first phase of the single family home project. Construction began back in April 2008 and Wednesday an open house was held.

Housing Authority officials said applicants will go through a series of credit checks and must be able to pay a mortgage to be considered. For instance, a family of two has to make at least $17,000 a year.
