New Stop Sign In Place To Slow Down Drivers

Have you noticed it yet if you've been driving through a section of Cambria County? A double stop sign has been posted on Keppler Drive in Upper Yoder Township in Cambria County. Originally the old stop sign allowed drivers to continue moving only if they were making a right turn, but now you must come to a complete stop. A few hundred feet from the Keppler stop sign is another new stop sign this one posted at the intersections of Leon and State Street. The speed limit on Keppler Drive is 25 miles per hour and Upper Yoder Township police say they hope the new stop signs will encourage people to slow down.
