No criminal charges will be filed against Indiana Borough Detective Scott Schuller. The 11-year-veteran shot and killed Joseph Stank last Wednesday outside the Indiana Area High School. Stank pointed a gun, later determined to be an air pistol, at police outside the school. According to police, Schuller ordered the man to drop the gun. When Stank did not, Schuller fired twice, killing him. The Indiana District Attorney reviewed reports about the shooting and video footage from a camera mounted outside the school before making his decision not to press charges.
