Overnight Blaze Destroys Jefferson County Business

Apple Tractor Was Destroyed When Fire Ripped Through The Building.

Snyder Township, Jefferson County —

Flames climbed dozens of feet into the sky above the roof of Apple Tractor Friday night. Fire crews were called to a structure fire at the business along State Route 219, just south of Brockway. By the time crews arrived shortly after 10:30 p.m., the building was already fully-engulfed in flames. It took firefighters from eight separate departments to keep the fire from damaging nearby businesses. A neighboring car dealership scurried to move vehicles that were parked adjacent to the building. The state police fire marshall is investigating the cause of the fire. Nobody was hurt in the blaze.
