BELLEFONTE, Pa. —

Dozens of firefighters from throughout Centre County spent hours battling an overnight two-alarm fire at a historic building on East High Street Sunday morning.

Eyewitnesses said smoke and fire could be seen billowing from the Do De building.

Officials have reported that customers inside the bar and all 26 apartment residents have been accounted for and are okay.

Smoke and water damage have been reported in the adjacent former Garman Hotel building, as well as inside the Centre County Courthouse Annex.

Authorities are still investigating the blaze and the Red Cross is assisting the victims.
