SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. —
Another Somerset County municipality is reportedly on board with a plan to study the feasibility of a regional police force.
The Daily American reported the Paint Township supervisors agreed Tuesday to submit a letter of intent to the state to perform the study.
Currently, the township provides police coverage for five neighboring communities. Windber has already agreed to the study and Conemaugh Township is willing to participate.
The four other municipalities must also agree to the proposal.
