Anticipation is high among Penn State students and Nittany Lions football fans as the team gets set to head to a bowl game. Although some fans tried to get a jump start for tickets Monday, they were quickly sent home. University officials say bowl tickets will be given out using a different system.
On December 7, students who show up at the Bryce Jordan Center will be given wrist bands. On December 8, the numbers on the bands will be drawn and the students with those numbers will be given the chance to buy a bowl ticket.
Only students who are season ticket holders will be eligible to get a bowl ticket. In addition, students will only be allowed to purchase one ticket. The bowl game the Nittany Lions will play in is to be announced Sunday.
