CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. —

Penn State University, which is still dealing with the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal, has announced plans to hire new faculty members who will specialize in dealing with child abuse victims.

Over the next three years, Penn State will add a dozen faculty as part of its network for child protection and well-being.
