Groundbreaking ceremonies, for the third phase of Penn State's Innovation Research Park, took place yesterday morning. Officials say the completion of Interstate 99, with an exit to the research area, is proving to be a major recruiting tool. Companies from as far away as England and California are looking at the Penn State site. Currently more than 40 companies, employing a thousand people, are located at Innovation Park.
