Pittsburgh man facing burglary charges after allegedly breaking into Heinz Field

PITTSBURGH, Pa. —

A Pittsburgh man is behind bars after police said he tried to break in to the Pittsburgh Steelers' locker room.

Police said John Winters broke a lock at Gate B and wandered onto the field Saturday morning, then tried to break into the locker room with a hammer.

Security guards spotted him and took him into custody.

Police said Winters is facing burglary charges.
