Police: Armed Man Wearing Halloween Mask Robs Convenience Store

BOALSBURG, Pa. —

State College police are reviewing surveillance video after a masked man robbed a Boalsburg convenience store Saturday night.

Investigators told WJAC-TV that a man wearing an "old man" Halloween mask entered the Uni-Mart on Boal Avenue shortly before midnight and demanded money from the clerk.

Authorities describe the masked man as 5 feet 5 inches tall wearing a navy sweatshirt, jeans, hat and gloves and was carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.

Officers said the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the man fled the store on foot.

Anyone with information on the armed robbery is urged to call State College police at 234-7150 or Centre County Crimestoppers at 877-99CRIME.
