Police arrest one in Decker Diamond theft; Looking for second suspect

By Melanie Gillespie

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. —

Thanks to an anonymous tip, Cambria Township Police have made an arrest in the Decker Diamond Jewelry theft.

Police arrested John Illingworth of Indiana for theft charges.

Police said two men went into the store on Jamesway Road and stole about $11,000 worth of rings.

The owner took the rings out of a case to show the men because he said they were interested in buying one.

Illingworth is in the Cambria County Jail, but police believe another man is involved.

Police are looking for Daniel Wyers.

They said he was last seen in the Indiana-area and ask if you see him to call the department at 814-472-6040.
