JOHNSONBURG, Pa. —

Police in Elk County arrested a man suspected of robbing a Johnsonburg bank at gunpoint earlier this month.

Corey Feronti is accused of robbing the CNB Bank on Market Street the afternoon of Jan. 8.

The robber pointed a gun at a bank employee and demanded cash before fleeing. No injuries were reported.

Police in Johnsonburg said they had several leads in the investigation. On Thursday, they completed a search warrant at Feronti's home, which led to his arrest. Johnsonburg police were assisted by an FBI agent, a K9 unit from St. Marys and Ridgway borough police.

Feronti remains at the Elk County jail on $100,000 cash bail.
