Police ask for information in possible copper theft

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. —

State police in Somerset are asking for your help in trying to track down where a load of copper came from.

Police said they made a traffic stop in Jenner Township early Friday morning and noticed large strands of copper in the bed of a pick up truck. 

Both the driver and passenger said they did not know where it came from.

Police seized the truck and copper.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Somerset.
