Police: Driver In Clearfield Co. Accident Intoxicated

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Police in Clearfield County said a man was intoxicated when he lost control of his car and hit a tree early Saturday morning in Clearfield County. 

It happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday along Kendrick Road in Woodward Township. 

Police said Michael Davis lost control of his car, which went into a yard along the roadway and hit a tree. 

They added that Davis was trapped inside the vehicle and was freed by fire crews. 

Police said he was intoxicated and arrested after the accident. 

 Davis had moderate injuries and a passenger in the car was also hurt.
