Driver of stolen car, police officer taken to hospital after pursuit ends in crash

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. —

A man is in custody after he allegedly crashed into a police cruiser while driving a stolen car in Johnstown.

Police said the suspect, Kevin Plummer, was driving a car reported stolen from Richland Township.

A pursuit started in Richland Township around 11 a.m., and the crash happened about 10 minutes later at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and D Street in Johnstown's West End neighborhood.

Plummer and two police officers were taken to a hospital. The officers were treated and released by 5 p.m.
