Police Investigate Jefferson County Animal Cruelty

Police in Jefferson County need your help in finding out who shot a dog Friday in Winslow Township.

Police said it happened between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at a house along Big Run-Prescottville Road.

Police said Christi Roman's beagle-Jack Russell terrier mix, named Digger, was tied up behind her house when someone shot the dog through the hind legs.

Anyone with information on this case should call the DuBois barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police at 814-371-4652.
