OLIVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

State police in Jefferson County are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Oliver Township.

Troopers tell 6News that the bodies of Kathryn Divins and Ricky Lee Miller were discovered inside Miller's car Saturday afternoon. The couple lived in New Bethlehem, Clarion County and were in Oliver Township for the holiday weekend.

Police say their bodies were discovered by a group of people on ATVs near the abandoned rail line.

Police say they believe Miller shot Divins then turned the gun on himself. Both died of single gunshot wounds.
