Police said Shane Cordarell Johnson attempted to kidnap a victim while using a handgun and demanding money.  Police said the victim escaped and ran to a near-by home.

Johnson is a black male, 5'08'', 150 lbs, with long black hair and brown eyes. Police said he is armed and dangerous.

"When the offiers responded, they learned that the subject that they were looking for, Shane Johnson, had attempted to kidnap a victim from her home," Johnstown Police Officer Erin Kabler said.

It all started when Johnson knocked on the victim's door.

"Mr Johnson displayed a firearm and demanded drugs and money from the victim," Kabler said.

Police say the women called a relative and asked for more money. The victim told Johnson to drive her to the relative's house, where he could pick up the remainder of the cash.

"And when he took her, when she got out of the car and ran to the relatives address to summon police," Kabler said.
