ALTOONA, Pa. —
The Altoona-Mirror reported Saturday that a patient at Altoona Regional was killed during his stay in July of 2011.
The paper said Charles Denny Sr. of Tyrone died of an overdose while in the hospital’s ICU.
Police released very few details, but said no one working at the hospital is considered a suspect or person of interest.
An Altoona detective told the Mirror that it is a homicide investigation and is interviewing people who knew Denny.
His death certificate has yet to be released.
