Police: Man Shot 2 Teens In Punxsutawney

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. —

Authorities in Jefferson County have issued an arrest warrant for a Pittsburgh man connected to a violent shooting.

According to Punxsutawney Police, 24-year-old Christopher Lawrence Thornhill fired 10 shots along Cranberry Alley around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, hitting two teenagers.

Police didn’t release the names of the victims or the motive of the shooting, but friends of the 17-year-old and 18-year-old victims said they were shot multiple times and were targeted by Thornhill.

Officials said Thornhill fled the scene in a Cheverolet Blazer with Pennsylvania license plate HWC-4537.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Thornhill are urged to call troopers at 814-938-0510.
