Police: Man thrown, struck by vehicle during drug deal

By WJAC Web Staff

A New Florence man is facing aggravated assault charges after police said he drove at a high speed while another man was hanging in the passenger window of his vehicle.

Pennsylvania State Police said the incident happened during a drug deal. They said Adam Devore, 25, was leaning in the car window. When police arrived at the scene, the driver, 23-year-old Justin Foster, took off. That caused Devore to be thrown from Foster's car then struck by the vehicle.

Devore was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, and his condition was not released Monday morning.

Foster remains in the Indiana County Jail.
