Police Nab Man They Believe Robbed First Summit Bank

Police arrested and charged a man they believe robbed a First Summit Bank in East Taylor Township.

Police said John Fletcher, 28, walked into the bank with a knife last week and threatened tellers and asked for cash. Police say he then ran from the bank into some woods near by. He then ran from the bank into some woods near by, police said.

Both a K-9 Unit and a helicopter searched the area but could not find the suspect. Now Fletcher is in police custody.

Police said Fletcher is also the man who stole cooper wire from a Cambria County business twice.
